Daily Nonstop Service Began Today To the City of Angels

MADISON, WI -- The Los Angeles Airport (LAX) and the international and domestic points beyond it will soon be a flight away at Dane County Regional Airport. Business and leisure travelers throughout Dane County and Southwest Wisconsin will be able to fly direct to the Southern Californian hub thanks to the United Airlines launch of a daily non-stop, year-round service starting on March 31, 2019.

“We would like to thank United Airlines for their continued support of the Dance County region”, said Dane County Executive Joe Parisi. “Not only will this flight serve tourists headed to California, but it serves as a vital international and domestic gateway to the West for residents of south-central Wisconsin.”

Flights will depart MSN daily at 3:24 p.m. on a Embraer E-175 aircraft featuring three-class service, AC power ports, larger over-head bins that can accommodate full sized carry-ons, and Wi-Fi.

“United is thrilled to offer this direct flight from Los Angeles to the innovation hub of Madison,” said Janet Lamkin, United’s California President. “This new flight gives Madison residents dozens of new flight options to Asia and throughout California, and brings more business and leisure travelers to Wisconsin.”

Arriving in Los Angeles, travelers will have access to numerous world-wide destinations each day.

“This is a significant development for Dane County and south central Wisconsin,” said Airport Director Kim Jones. “The Los Angeles airport will provide significant opportunities for travelers to connect to hundreds of west coast and international destinations.”

The Dane County Regional Airport provides seamless, low-stress, and affordable options for both leisure and business travelers with more than 100 daily arrivals and departures. The non-stop services to 19 cities provides access to nearly every worldwide destination.
