Frontier Airlines’ Service From Madison To Orlando Takes Off Dec. 16
Inaugural Flight Booked To Capacity As Wisconsinites Seek Warmer Weather

Madison, WI – The Dane County Regional Airport is pleased to announce that Frontier Airlines non-stop service to Orlando, Florida will takeoff December 16th with full inaugural flight.

“We are excited that Frontier Airlines has added this new service from Madison to Orlando. As the number one destination in the United States and the number one family destination in the world, Orlando is a wonderful vacation option for residents of the Badger state,” commented Gary Sain, president and CEO of Visit Orlando. “Orlando is also an incredible value for business and leisure travelers with affordable accommodations across all hotel brands and of course a never ending supply of fun.”

“The addition of this non-stop flight to Orlando continues to build on the Dane County Regional Airport’s reputation as a convenient, high quality location for residents and visitors to travel through,” said Dane County Executive Joe Parisi.  “I’m pleased that such an important part of our local economy continues to thrive.” 

The route will be flown on a 99-seat Embraer E-190 jet aircraft. Customers on board will enjoy comfortable leather seating in a two-by-two configuration with no middle seats. In addition, the E-190 has several rows of STRETCH seating, which provides an additional five inches of comfortable legroom. Frontier’s E-190 fleet is also outfitted with in-flight internet access.
