Welcome Home is the 13th edition in the annual calendar series highlighting arts, culture and creativity of Dane County and the surrounding region. Welcome Home was produced with financial support  from Alliant Energy and designed by Phil Hamilton, emeritus professor of art at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Calendar purchases help support the Dane County Cultural Affairs Commission’s mission and programs: fostering public participation, increasing access, and forging alliances in support of arts, culture and local history.

The Dane County Cultural Affairs Commission was created by the Dane County Board of Supervisors in 1976, at the end of the American bicentennial observance, to foster public participation in local arts and historical activity; to increase public access to the cultural resources of the county; and to forge working alliances between public and private sectors in support of the arts.
