Delta Airlines to resume non-stop service from Madison to Atlanta

(Madison, WI)  The Dane County Regional Airport is pleased to announce that Delta Airlines will resume its non-stop service from Madison to Atlanta on November 3, 2010.

“Business and leisure travelers alike have told us they have missed having this connection to Atlanta,” said Dane County Regional Airport Director Bradley Livingston. “This daily, non-stop flight will provide our customers another link to the southern United States, and connections throughout the world.” 

The morning flight from the Dane County Regional Airport to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport will begin with a 50-seat CRJ Delta Connection aircraft. Passengers can begin booking flights from Madison to Atlanta now. 

Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk said she is also delighted that flights to Atlanta are resuming.  “This good news just emphasizes that Dane County remains ‘open for business’, and provides an even greater opportunity to exchange ideas, goods and services with the southern United States and beyond.”

“Delta is pleased to be resuming service between Madison and Atlanta this fall, expanding our service to seven destinations and 16 peak-day flights,” said Joe Esposito, Delta’s managing director – Network Planning. “From Atlanta, our Madison customers will enjoy convenient connections to more than 200 destinations worldwide on Delta’s leading global network.”
