Madison, WI. 5/30/09 – Dane County Deputies are investigating a serious crash that occurred at approximately 2 a.m. on 5-30-09 on State Highway 69, south of Paoli in the Town of Montrose. STH 69, from County Highway PB to Henry Rd will be closed for approximately four to six hours. A alternate northbound route to this area would be County Highway A west to County Highway PB north. An alternate southbound route to this area would be County Highway PB south to County Highway A east. If you believe you have information on this incident, please contact the Dane County tip line at (608) 284-6900. ****UPDATE**** The crash involved a single vehicle rollover with one occupant. The driver of the vehicle, Michael A. Castle, age 18 from New Glarus, was driving a ’95 Pontiac Grand AM northbound on Highway 69 and lost control of his vehicle near a curve. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the Dane County Sheriff’s Office
