Falk Statement: Passing of Bill Bablitch

Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk issued the following statement regarding the passing of former Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Bill Bablitch; a longtime friend of the County Executive:

 

“Bill Bablitch has been a friend and mentor to me for about 3 decades.  He was a particularly skilled and articulate environmental leader in the Wisconsin Senate;  and subsequently was a highly respected jurist and legal scholar as a justice on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

 

I could not have had a better friend. In fact, he and his wonderful wife Ann hosted my wedding at their home – and even cooked the dinner.   I will truly miss his grand story-telling, astute political advice, and warm friendship.”
