Slow No Wake Discontinued for Lake Monona’s Squaw Bay

 Slow No Wake Order to Continue on Crystal Lake

 

Dane County is lifting a slow/no wake order for Lake Monona’s Squaw Bay that was put into effect this summer after periods of heavy rains.

 

Signs and buoys informing lake users about the slow/no wake order on Squaw Bay have been removed.

 

A slow/no wake order does remain in effect for Crystal Lake in northern Dane County.

 

Boaters are reminded that all of the lakes in the Yahara Chain of Lakes have permanent, year-round 200-feet from shore slow/no wake restrictions.
