Two Vehicle Injury Crash

Madison WI. April 13th, 2010 - At approximately 3:15 p.m., Dane County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Deforest EMS, Sun Prairie Fire Department, and UW Med Flight responded to a two-vehicle injury crash on STH 19 at Pepsi Way in the Town of Burke.

Araceli Aguero-Vital, age 29 of Waterloo, was traveling eastbound on STH 19 when her vehicle was struck by Nicholas E. Diddens, age 27 of Windsor. Diddens was traveling northbound on Pepsi Way, attempting to cross STH 19 when he failed to yield the right of way to Aguero-Vital. Upon collision, Aguero-Vital’s vehicle rolled and came to rest in the median. Aguero-Vital and the three passengers in her vehicle; Maria Delacruz, age 29, Sonia Perez, age 49, and Imelda Estrada-Hernandez age 31, all from Waterloo, were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Diddens did not sustain any injuries and was not transported.

The crash remains under investigation by the Dane County Sheriff’s Office.
