On behalf of Dane County residents, I extend our condolences to the family and friends of former Dane County Sheriff Jerome Lacke. His years of service as Sheriff, from 1981-1990, were years of great change and challenge. He met those challenges directly and successfully with the result being better service to residents from the Sheriff’s Department. He was a hard-working, honest, effective public servant. # # #
