Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk, Sheriff Dave Mahoney, and County Board Chairman Scott McDonell announced today that a 500-foot “Slow No Wake Order” for Lake Mendota is being lifted. Full “Slow No Wake” orders remain for Cherokee Marsh/Cherokee Lake.
500-foot “Slow No Wake” restrictions are still in effect for Lakes Monona and Waubesa. Full no wake remains for Squaw Bay.
The “Slow No Wake” change on Lake Mendota takes effect at 12:00 p.m. today (Thursday August 14th).
