Dry Weather Helping Lake Levels Fall Throughout Yahara Chain Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk, Sheriff Dave Mahoney, and County Board Chairman Scott McDonell announced today that a 500-foot “Slow No Wake Order” for Lake Mendota is being lifted. Full “Slow No Wake” orders remain for Cherokee Marsh/Cherokee Lake. 500-foot “Slow No Wake” restrictions are still in effect for Lakes Monona and Waubesa. Full no wake remains for Squaw Bay.
