Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk issued the following statement regarding the recommendations from a state heating plant study and corresponding directive from the Governor ending the use of coal at the Charter Street Heating Plant in Madison. “This is truly welcome, significant news and is another important step to ensuring Dane County citizens are able to breathe clean, safe air.
