Budget Request Released

Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk today (9/2/04) released the compilation of the budget requests made by the elected or appointed heads of all the county departments. In her cover memorandum to the County Board, Falk noted that, taken as a whole, the budget requests would increase the tax levy by over $9 million and require a 9.31% increase in the levy. Falk made it clear that she will not propose such an increase. # # #
