County Executive Falk and Representative Peter Bock Announce Wedding Plans

Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk and State Representative Peter Bock of Milwaukee will be married in a small, family wedding December 24, on the Island of Hawaii, the Big Island. Falk’s son, Eric, 21, and other members of the couple’s immediate families will be in attendance. They are leaving Thursday, December 19 for Hawaii. “We want to thank everyone for the many kind wishes we’ve heard from friends, constituents and others. We’re looking forward to the wedding and are excited about the future,” said Falk. She and Bock were engaged in summer 2001 when Bock proposed to her with a “Will you marry me?” message on the electronic billboard at a Milwaukee Brewers game at Miller Park. The couple are great baseball fans. Bock is retiring from the Legislature in January, after 16 years representing the 7th Assembly District on Milwaukee’s west side, including the Miller Park neighborhood. Falk and Bock will return to Madison on December 29. # # #
