Dane County Regional Airport Celebrates First Flight Via New Carrier Breeze Airways

Madison, WI – The Dane County Regional Airport (DCRA) celebrated the kickoff of Breeze Airways’ new, twice-weekly non-stop service from Madison to Tampa, Florida (TPA) at a news conference held at DCRA. Airport Director Kim Jones and Steve Sye, Director of Airports and Guest Services at Breeze Airways, recognized this important addition to DCRA’s service and sent the first flight on its way. New Breeze Airways non-stop service to Orlando will begin February 14th, and non-stop service to Los Angeles will begin May 22.
  

Strong passenger demand continues to drive flight service additions at the Dane County Regional Airport. "Breeze Airways’ commitment to south-central Wisconsin has a significant economic impact on the Dane County region," said Dane County Executive Joe Parisi. “Additional non-stop flights to more destinations help to make Dane County a world-class destination to live, work and play.”

Passengers at the gate enjoyed tropical mocktails, destination guides, and gifts courtesy of DCRA and Visit Tampa to celebrate the inaugural flight.
