COUNTY’S HEALTH AND HUMAN NEEDS COMMITTEE TO HEAR OVERVIEW PRESENTATION OF DANE COUNTY’S VETERANS SERIVCE OFFICE

The Dane County Health and Human Needs Committee will meet on July 8th at 5:30 pm to hear an overview presentation about the Dane County Veterans Service Office.

 

The presentation will be given by Dan Connery, Veterans Services Director and will provide an overview of the department.

 

County Board Supervisor Blaire Adkins (District 16) who serves on the Veteran Services Commission said "Dane County provides valuable and critical services to our veterans, I am happy we are able to shine a light on their work, and also to hear from Director Connery."

 

Dane County’s Veterans Services Office mission is to assist Dane County veterans and their families with obtaining local, state, and federal veteran’s benefits. More information on the variety of services the office provides can be found here.

 

"Having presentations from departments at our meetings is important to our committee and the public as we continue to provide information to the community about what the County does, and helps inform our work moving forward," said County Board Supervisor and Chair of the Health and Human Needs Committee Elizabeth Doyle (District 1).
